Narendra K. Arora

Prof Narendra Kumar Arora MD, MMSc, from India is the current Executive Director of The INCLEN Trust International since 2005. He holds MD in Pediatrics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and has received MMSc in Clinical Epidemiology and Bio-Statistics from the University of Newcastle, Australia under the INCLEN training Program

Narendra Arora was a faculty member of AIIMS since 1983 and retired as a Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in 2007. Professor Arora is a known public health expert in India and is extensively involved in policy-making, program planning, implementation and evaluation of public health programs at both national and international level. He was a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator in over 60 major research projects and have published over 150 original research in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Narendra Arora has been honored with numerous prestigious distinctions for his excellence.

Mary Ann Lansang
 

Mary Ann D. Lansang

Prof Mary Ann D. Lansang, MD, MSc, from Philippines has served as the Executive Director of INCLEN between 2000 and 2005. She was a Professor of Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at University of Philippines and Deputy Director of Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), Philippines

In addition to her teaching responsibilities Prof. Lansang was an invitee to number of international boards and advisory committees. She was the member of two international steering committees on vaccine discovery research (from 1995 to 2000) and also served in Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) (from 2001 to 2007). In 2000, Prof. Lansang also participated in Tropical Disease Research (TDR) efforts of WHO. She also worked as a Professor of Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at WHO and as Director of Knowledge Management Unit, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

David Fraser
 

David William Fraser

Dr. David William Fraser MD, served as the Executive Director of INCLEN between 1996 till 2000. He was trained in internal medicine and infectious disease epidemiology and was an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at University of Pennsylvania. He served as the President of Swarthmore College from 1982-91 and headed health education and housing activities in South Asia and East Africa between 1991 and 1995. Earlier in his carrier he was a Research Associate at The Textile Museum in Washington DC and a Consulting Scholar at University of Pennsylvania. In 1976 he led the federal field investigations of Legionnaires disease outbreak in Philadelphia and worked with CDC team that discovered the role of tampons in toxic shock syndrome

Arturo Morillo
 

Arturo Morillo

Dr. Arturo Morillo, was the first Executive Director in INCLEN office and served up to 1996. He was trained in physiology and epidemiology and played a key role in the early efforts to promote evidence based medicine at global level. As an eminent Neurophysiologist and a Medical Educator, he served as the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Javeriana University between 1986 and 1991

He also served as Director of the Department of Physiological Sciences Javeriana. He was the founder of Department of Clinical Epidemiology at his University while serving as a Professor of Neurophysiology. He was also the Director of Office for Promotion of Research

Shelly-Kessler
 

Shelley Kessler

Shelly Kessler served as Deputy Executive Director between 1995 till 2000. Kessler received her Master degree in International Relations from John Hopkins and Bachelor degree in Arts from Brown University. She joined INCLEN after 11 years of field experiences primarily with international relief and development organization, CARE and UNICEF. Shelly Kessler was an expert in strategy and business planning, organization and leadership developments and program planning and assessments. At INCLEN along with overall responsibility of program management she was doing strategic planning, new business development and fund diversifications
